About the Role

Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you have machine operation experience? Giftogram is seeking a seasonal Part-Time Production Assistant to join our small in-house production team. 

The ideal Production Assistant will be available to work anywhere from 8-30 hours per week during our busy holiday season and will have 1-2 years prior experience using printing press machinery, such as laminators. In this role, you will be responsible for the handling and assembly of gift card and lanyard shipments.

This role requires physical stamina to lift up to 60 pounds at shoulder height and strong hand dexterity for affixing materials. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness in the workspace and handling trash removal. Hourly pay is listed at $16/hour.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate laminator machine and machine guillotine to cut and laminate printing press materials
  • Safely lift and transport materials up to 60 pounds to and from workstations at shoulder-height
  • Use fine motor skills to adhere, assemble, and affix gift cards and lanyards with precision
  • Inspect and maintain the quality of finished products before shipments go out to customers
  • Remove trash and debris from the production area to ensure a clean, safe working environment
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the production process
  • Be on call with 24-hour notice

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a printing, machine operation, or manufacturing environment is required
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds to shoulder height and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail for affixing materials
  • Knowledge of safety protocols when operating machinery
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
